Week 42/43
Hey que tal! Como están ustedes! I hope that you all had an amazing week! The last few weeks have been pretty good. We had transfers, I'll be staying here in las matas for a 3rd transfer but my comp is leaving for the capital and Elder Jones will be my new comp. he's super cool. On the way home from church 3 of our Haitian friends got taken back to Haiti by border control and so that was rough. On the bright side they are all back so that's good. We went to the market last week and a bought a pair of slides for 200 pesos, that was a steal Our pizza tower has almost reached the ceiling We had really cool miracles inviting people to church, we decided that we were going to invite everyone and we ended up having a few people just randomly come to church and so that was super cool. Week 40/41
Hola como estan todos! These last 2 weeks have been awesome and have been full of work and fun, I don't have a ton of time so I apologize if this email is a little short. On p day we went on a super cool hike to a waterfall. We hired a taxi but the road was really bad and so he dropped us off a little far from the trail head. It was still super fun and super pretty. I forgot how much i love being outdoors and hiking We have a pizza tower in our apartment and it has almost gotten all of the way to the ceiling. My comp and I have been feeling very motivated to workout and so this week during lunch we made a Gym on our roof. It has a bench and a few different curl bars and a few other cool things. We also have made progress on our Jesus wall. We had many miracles this week especially one of the daughters of an inactive member recently asked to be baptized which is a miracle we have been praying for for a long time. I we...
