Week 4, I think?

 Hola a todos!

       I hope this letter finds you all well. My first week in the mtc has been pretty good. There's lots.of pros and cons but I have been super happy as I learn how tk speak the language the lord needs me tk teach. Throughout this week I have learned that the gift of tounges is really. I have learned Spanish so fast and I think I've learned more than in the 3 years I took in school. I've also seen the people in my class that have never learned Spanish be able to form complete conversations. Although I know the mission field will be much different I know that it'll be okay.

Elder Gong came to speak to us on Tuesday. This was a super cool experience.  I had the opportunity to sing in the choir which was awesome. We sung "Joseph Smith's first prayer"  I love this song and it was so beautiful. The devotional was broadcasted to all over the world sk that was sweet. 
         I've also been playing a ton of volleyball. I've never read aged before but I think by the end of the mtc I'll be pretty good. On Monday during gym time my companion broke elder richins nose. That was kinda funny, it's not serious tho so no worrys. 
         Overall the mtc has been a super cool experience and I'm excited to see what the coming weeks have in store. There are only a few cons. The phones they gave us are not very great. I am super grateful for my iPhone at home right now. The good can also use some work. I really miss my mom and dad's cool. they have unlimited ice cream and cereal tho si it's okY. 
         This week I've learned a lot about the love of God. I know that He loves all of his children and I k oe h
He loves me.  He knows me perfectly and loves me perfectly. I know that He watches over us and he cares about us no matter where we are. He us real and in His ultimate act of love he sent his Son down to earth to die for us and to atone for each won if our sins. I know He loves us.

  I'm not a huge fan of writing emails but apparently people want me to write more. Therefore I am going to default to bulletpoints This was a super awesome awesome week and it had a lot of miracles - I'm starting to really love Oregon. The weather is beautiful and the branch is amazing. I've never seen a more unified branch and I'm honored to be a part of it.  - We got to talk to a very drunk guy who had a really big Bible in Guatemala so that was sweet. We also talked to a guy smoking a cigar that says we should wear baby clothes to protect us so maybe I'll take that into consideration.  - We got to go to the Portland temple with two new converts and this was a super cool experience. Everyone in the branch that could go went and drove the hour to support their fellow members. Week 31/32

Hola! Cómo están? I hope all is well, and I am sorry for not sending an email last week, I started it but then forgot to finish and send it. Anyways, here's my last 2 weeks On Sunday, I found out that I was going to get transferred to Las Matas, which is a very small town about 40 minutes from the Haitian border.   I spent most of Monday packing, but we had a service project with Tony, which was a lot of fun. We helped him paint a house, and that all went pretty well.   On Tuesday we spent most of the day saying goodbye to all the members. That was really sad because I had been there for 5 months and they became super good friends. That is one of the hard parts about the mission. You get used to changing really fast.   Wednesday was transfers, so we woke up at 6 and left at 8 for the capital. The guagua driver was not very pleased with how heavy our suitcases were.
