Week 47/48

 Hola! como esta todo!!! This week was an awesome week because we got to go to the temple.

- While teaching a lesson with Rubens with his friend, he said ,"Sami you are a man full of sin,  but with Christ you can be clean!"  It was a really cool moment
- My comp got super sick last night, we were not sure what form because we ate all the same stuff and so who knows, i feel great.
- We got to go to the temple and so that was amazing
- We got called sons of the devil because we didn't buy him ice cream
- We got to go to a bunch of caves this week and it was super cool, We found a few dead goats, we also saw a ton of bats which was super cool.
- we had the opportunity to put 5 of our friends on date for baptism.  It's been so cool to see how the gospel has changed the lives of the people ive meet.  the gospel truly brings happiness.  
- The Creole is coming along well, I don't think that i will ever be able to teach but i'm working on being able to converse and have a basic conversation with someone.  People love when you try even if you're not that good.  It's the same with God
- The branch is doing much better than it was when I got here, It has been super cool to see what was a struggling branch become a little more stable.
- We found out about transfers this week so we'll see what happens, I'm really hoping to stay here in Las matas.  I love it here.

Anyways for the spiritual I want to talk about what Rubens said during a lesson although it was harsh it was also true.  We as humans are full of sin, but we all have a savior. And with the help of Jesus Christ we can become clean.  The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the most important event to ever take place in the history of the world and because of that we can be clean. I know that he lives and that He loves us. I promise that if you come to Christ you will be made clean through the blood of His sacrifice.

  I'm not a huge fan of writing emails but apparently people want me to write more. Therefore I am going to default to bulletpoints This was a super awesome awesome week and it had a lot of miracles - I'm starting to really love Oregon. The weather is beautiful and the branch is amazing. I've never seen a more unified branch and I'm honored to be a part of it.  - We got to talk to a very drunk guy who had a really big Bible in Guatemala so that was sweet. We also talked to a guy smoking a cigar that says we should wear baby clothes to protect us so maybe I'll take that into consideration.  - We got to go to the Portland temple with two new converts and this was a super cool experience. Everyone in the branch that could go went and drove the hour to support their fellow members. Week 31/32

Hola! Cómo están? I hope all is well, and I am sorry for not sending an email last week, I started it but then forgot to finish and send it. Anyways, here's my last 2 weeks On Sunday, I found out that I was going to get transferred to Las Matas, which is a very small town about 40 minutes from the Haitian border.   I spent most of Monday packing, but we had a service project with Tony, which was a lot of fun. We helped him paint a house, and that all went pretty well.   On Tuesday we spent most of the day saying goodbye to all the members. That was really sad because I had been there for 5 months and they became super good friends. That is one of the hard parts about the mission. You get used to changing really fast.   Wednesday was transfers, so we woke up at 6 and left at 8 for the capital. The guagua driver was not very pleased with how heavy our suitcases were.
