Week 18

  Hola! como esta todo? I hope that you all are having a wonderful week. To be honest not much has happened this week so like last week this email is going to be pretty short.         One of the highlights of this week was definitely having a bunch of drunk people buy us a coke. We were walking in the streets trying to make some contacts and we saw a group of men playing domino's. Everyone here plays domino's anyways we decided to contact them and watch them play for a little bit. We quickly realized they were pretty tipsy and so they thought everything was hilarious. One of them even showed me his bank account and he is in quite a lot of debt. When in doubt drink your problems away. It almost always works. Week 21

Buenos días a todos! Como esta todo? Esperamos que todo este bien con ustedes y sus familias! This week was a great week. We had the baptism of Luxemil on Saturday which was amazing. It is amazing how the Lord will put the people that are ready in your path as long as you are working hard. I remeber about 2 months ago when we found Luxemil. We were walking up a road trying to find people. He was sitting in the side if the road and week walked past him. We then felt prompted to turn around and talk. We ended up giving a Book of Mormon to him and later that night he texted us saying that he had read some of it. He baptism all with a breif promotkng to turn around. I often wonder what would have happened if we had choosen to not turn around. Would the Lord have given us a second chance or would he put the responsibility in to the hands of future missionaries. I'm so thankful for the opportunity we had to teach and baptize Luxemil.     That was definitely the main highlight o...

Week 6

  Hola a Todos!  I hope you are all doing well.  A this is my final week in the mtc there is not much that is going on.  I got my travel itinerary for the Dominican Republic this week but I currently do not have my visa so I'm not sure what is happening.  I really do not want to get reassigned but I know that God has a plan and there are people that need to get taught the gospel everywhere.  Spanish is coming along, i'm definitely not fluent but i think that ill be okay.  I guess we will see when I get there haha.  I'm especially grateful for the 1 way mirror that we have in our classroom.  I don't know why it is there but it is a lot of fun.  I am also grateful for my Spanish teacher Hermano Wilson.  He is the best and has taught me a ton of spanish.  This week I finished going through the Atonement section in the topical guide.  This was an awesome experience.  ...
