Week 55

Weyyyy klkklk como estan? I hope that you have all had an amazing week! The mission is going amazing and im so happy to be here. I continue to learn every day that its the best desision that i have ever made. Alright noe about my week

I have developed a habit of finding and looking for coins on the ground, this week i found an american quarter on the ground, i have no clue how it got all the way out here to this tiny town but it now adds to my collection. Ive found coins from 4 diffent countrys

Yesterday night some of our haitian friends invited us to there evangelical church and man it was insane, lots ans lots of music and stading up and swaying back and forth and was very strange and different but the hospitality of the people there was amazing, they all came up and said hi and made us feel like we were the most important guests that had ever walked into the church, i truly have grown to love the hatian people. I have never met a people so humble and kind.

While doing a service project we found a very very big spider and that was fun

Throughout the course of the last 2 weeks rubens has been taken by border control twice but he has gottwn back and was at church yesterday, if you want the full story shoot me a message

We have tranfers on Friday but we dont find out till Wednesday night, it is most likly my last week in las matas and honestly im really sad abkut it. I have loved my tome here more than anything

During one of our lessons we were teaching the restoration and the kid we were teaching puts on some very peaceful minecraft sounding music and so we had nice backround music for the rest of the lesson

Its been incredibly hot but the week we finally got a lot of rain and so instead of being super hot we were super wet, im not sure which one a perfer, i think the rain is more fun but at the same time its way easier to do missionary work when its hot because all the people are sitting outside

Weve been doing an english fast for the last 2 weeks and so thats been really fun, ive learning a ton and ive also learned i can say almost anyrhing i want.

Today we went to the market in Elias Piña and that was super fun, the best part were the people exchanging money and just sat in chairs with huge stacks of hatian and dominican money.

Overall thats pretty much all, i will now share a spiritual thought

One of my favorite names for Jesus Christ is our advocat with the father. Ive always loved this name because Jesus is the way that we can talk with our father, through Him we can recive and utalize the Atonement. When reading in spanish i realized that the word Advocate directly translates to Abogado which in english mean lawyer. I love this becuase it gave me a new light on the word advocate, Jesucristo is our lawyer, he is fighting for our case and is doing everything in his power to plead our case and give us the highest award possible, the celestial kingdom, but even the best lawyer can not prove a gultiy man inocent, Jesus Chist will do everything he can but if we do not take the necessary steps to repent we will not be able tk be freed. I know that He loves us and he is fighting for us hoping that we will make the right choices and come unto him.
