Week 10

  This week was relatively slow but that's okay cause that's just how it goes sometimes so here's a quick run down of the week.  Tuesday: I honestly have no idea what we did so this day will be omitted.  Wednesday: we made a tonnnn of treats and baked goods for members which was a ton of fun. We definitely burnt a lot but it's okay. we decided it was the thought that counted. And who expects 4 Elders to be able to cook? We spent the day delivering them and this was super cool and fun. The members are probably the most important part of missionary work.  Thursday:I went on exchanges with Elder Pugmire and that was a lot of fun. I found out 2 things. One, that Elder pugmire and me have a ton in common. Number 2, English work is wayyyy different from Spanish work in the states. There are pros and cons to both but right now I'm on the side that spanish has more pros. I might be biased.  Friday: not too much happened today. Kinda just a normal day of missionary ...

Week 21

Buenos días a todos! Como esta todo? Esperamos que todo este bien con ustedes y sus familias! This week was a great week. We had the baptism of Luxemil on Saturday which was amazing. It is amazing how the Lord will put the people that are ready in your path as long as you are working hard. I remeber about 2 months ago when we found Luxemil. We were walking up a road trying to find people. He was sitting in the side if the road and week walked past him. We then felt prompted to turn around and talk. We ended up giving a Book of Mormon to him and later that night he texted us saying that he had read some of it. He baptism all with a breif promotkng to turn around. I often wonder what would have happened if we had choosen to not turn around. Would the Lord have given us a second chance or would he put the responsibility in to the hands of future missionaries. I'm so thankful for the opportunity we had to teach and baptize Luxemil.     That was definitely the main highlight o...

Week 19

Hola todos como están!! I hope all is well and this week's email is going to be quite short because I don't have too much time. We're busy playing domino's. Anyways this week we had the opportunity to put one of our friends on date for baptism. It's been so cool to see the changes he's made to prepare for this. This was definitely the highlight of the week. The rest just consisted of our neighbors getting absolutely wasted, my comp buying a table, and I think that's pretty much it so I'll just answer the questions now. Oh yeah we also had Thanksgiving which was fun, we made a whole chicken and it was really yummy. Also this week was transfers but nothing really happened so I'm chilling here in Villa Altagracia and I'm very happy with that.
